We ordered Jack Stack for a work event, and overall the food was really good. The burnt ends and beans were the favorites, and quite a few people went back for seconds, so no complaints there.

The pickup and coordination were where things felt around a little messy. We ended up calling twice to make sure the details were right, and one of the sides was smaller than we expected. It didn’t ruin anything, but it did add some extra stress before the event.

All in all, guests enjoyed the meal and it worked out fine. For the price, though, I expected the process to be a bit smoother. I’d consider using them again, but I’d definitely double check about everything ahead of time.

I was happy with this place. The portions were huge, especially for what I paid, and I definitely left full and satisfied. Always nice when a meal actually feels worth the money

The food itself was good, but the whole shipping situation was frustrating. It took longer than expected to arrive, and when it finally showed up, the box looked beat up. A few of the packages were leaking a little too, which was really annoying. For the price, I definitely expected better packaging and a smoother delivery experience.

It was crowded when I went, but it still felt okay. The vibe was nice overall, just a bit loud at times!

I sent this as a gift, and it ended up arriving late, which was frustrating. When it finally got there, the packaging looked messy and not really gift-worthy. if this is what I can expect, I’ll probably order from somewhere else next time.

The beans and cheesy corn were really tasty, and overall I was happy with the sides. The mac was a little dry though, which felt avoidable, but it still wasn’t bad. I’d order them again.

The meat was really tender and had just the right amount of smoky flavor, not overpowering, but enough to make every bite feel worth it. It’s the kind of food that just hits the spot and leaves you feeling happy at the end.

When they finally did reply, it felt rushed and like they just wanted to move on. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely not great

The bar selection was decent, but nothing really stood out. They had the usual beers and cocktails, which was fine, I just kind of expected a little more variety... Service was okay though, and the drinks came out quick. Overall, it was just average for me...

Jack Stack BBQ has a really solid menu, with way more to choose from than I expected. I mean, maybe I’m just indecisive, but I liked that it wasn’t only ribs and brisket. They’ve got burnt ends, seafood, sides, combo plates, and a bunch of other stuff that makes it easy to find something that sounds good.
I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because I spent too long trying to decide what to order. Part of me thinks that’s a good problem to have, though maybe it did feel like almost too many options at the time. Still, the selection is great, and I’d say it’s a good spot if you’re going with people who all want something a little different.

Not gonna lie, this was frustrating. I went on jackstackbbq.com to place an order and picked out a few things from the menu, only to find out at checkout that a couple of them weren’t actually available.
I totally get that restaurants run out of stuff, but the website should show that upfront before you spend time building an order. It just felt like a waste of time, so we ended up ordering somewhere else. 1 star from me

My table was sticky. There were food bits on the floor. The restroom looked like it had not been checked in a while. I mentioned it to the staff, but nothing changed before we left. The food may have been okay, but it was hard to enjoy with the place feeling that dirty.

I ordered from Jack Stack BBQ for a weekend dinner at home, mostly because I wanted something that felt a little more special than the usual takeout situation, and I was really happy with how it showed up. Everything was packed well, nothing was leaking or smashed around, and it was still nice and cold when it arrived, which made me feel better right away.

The reheating was straightforward, which I appreciated because I did not want to spend the whole evening trying to figure out what to do. I put the ribs in the oven with foil, warmed the burnt ends slowly, and heated the beans on the stove. The instructions were clear enough that I didn’t feel like I was guessing or babysitting everything the entire time.
Once it was all ready, it turned out great. The ribs and burnt ends stayed moist, the beans were really good, and nothing had that dried-out reheated taste that can happen with shipped food. It was not exactly the same as sitting there in person, of course, but it was surprisingly close and made for a really easy, good dinner. I would definitely order it again.
